First report of Curvularia lunataas causal agent of Curvularia blight in potato and tomato crops in Mauritius
Early blight (EB) is an important disease of solanaceous crops such as potatoes and tomatoes. During a two-year surveillance study, potato and tomato samples displaying symptoms of EB were collected from selected plantations in Mauritius. Microscopic examination of samples revealed typical beaked conidia characteristic of Alternaria spp.

First Report of Paramarasmius palmivorus Causing Collar Rot of Solanum aethiopicumgilo in Ghana
Infected plants showed gray-colored lesions at the collar region, soft root rot, and, eventually, wilted due to stem girdling. Thin mycelia were observed on the affected parts of the stem and roots.
