As the Spring Festival approaches, many tourists who have just finished their trip in Yunnan choose to take home one or two bags of coffee beans that they roasted themselves. These beans have become a special festive gift this year, whether for friends and family or for personal enjoyment.

Kenya played host to about 80,000 inbound Chinese tourists in 2024, up from 51,000 in 2023, and hopes to get more this year, a senior government official said on Thursday.

In 2024, agricultural exports from Hunan Province showed strong growth. According to statistics from Changsha Customs, the total value of agricultural exports for the year reached 23.48 billion CNY, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. The main exports included vegetables, dried and fresh fruits and nuts, meat products, and Chinese mitten crabs. In terms of product categories, vegetable exports amounted to 12.96 billion CNY, up 4.6%. Exports of dried and fresh fruits and nuts reached 2.86 billion CNY, an increase of 54.2%, including citrus exports of 780 million CNY, up 71.2%. Chinese mitten crab exports totaled 170 million CNY, a remarkable growth of 92.6%. Additionally, 49,000 tons of tea were exported, an increase of 15.2%; 26,000 tons of fresh eggs were exported, up 18.3%; and 154,000 live pigs were exported, representing a year-on-year growth of 12.8% and achieving double-digit growth for three consecutive years.

A press conference on Hunan's foreign trade was held in Changsha. According to the conference, Hunan’s total imports and exports amounted to 563.66 billion CNY in 2024, with exports totaling 334.48 billion CNY and imports amounting to 229.18 billion CNY in 2024.
