In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and the provisions of the Protocol on phytosanitary requirements for Madagascar peanuts exported to China agreed between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as “the Chinese side”) and  the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of the Republic of Madagascar (hereinafter referred to as “the Malagasy side”), the import of peanuts from Madagascar that comply with the relevant requirements is hereby permitted, effective as of the date of this Announcement.
