In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and the provisions of the Protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of South Africa on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Alfalfa from the Republic of South Africa to China, the import of alfalfa from South Africa that complies with the relevant requirements is hereby permitted with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement.
