In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and the provisions of the Protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development of the Republic of South Africa on Phytosanitary and Quarantine Requirements for the Export of Fresh Pears from the Republic of South Africa to China, the import of fresh pears from South Africa that complies with the relevant requirements is hereby permitted with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement.
