In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and the provisions of the Protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives of the Republic of Kenya on Phytosanitary and Quarantine Requirements for the Export of Fresh Avocados from the Republic of Kenya to China, the import of fresh avocados from Kenya that complies with the relevant requirements is hereby permitted with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement.
