In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and the provisions of the Protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Madagascar on Inspection, Quarantine and Veterinary Sanitary Requirements for the Export of Sheep and Goat Meat from Madagascar to China, the import of sheep and goat meat (hereinafter referred to as "mutton") from Madagascar that complies with the relevant requirements is hereby permitted with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement.
