According to statistics from Changsha Customs, Hunan Province's total import and export value from January to November reached 486.68 billion CNY, including 290.22 billion CNY in exports and 196.46 billion CNY in imports.In November alone, the province's total import and export volume hit 49.38 billion CNY, marking a month-on-month increase of 21.3 percent from October. Imports for the month stood at 22.06 billion CNY, reaching the highest monthly level this year.

In the first 11 months, Hunan's imports and exports to traditional markets reached 134.15 billion CNY, accounting for 27.6% of the province's total import and export value during the same period. Emerging markets contributed primarily to the growth, with Hunan's trade with ASEAN, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East increasing by 0.5 percent, 3.1 percent, 14.3 percent, and 1.6 percent respectively, accounting for 47.7 percent in total.

During the January-November period, Hunan exported mechanical and electrical products worth 168.54 billion CNY, up 1.7 percent year-on-year, accounting for 58.1 percent of the province's total exports. Among these, exports of automobiles (including chassis) and electrical equipment both grew by over 20.7 percent and 21.1 percent. Exports of the "new three" products (electric vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products), construction machinery, and rail transit equipment increased by 81.5 percent, 7.6 percent, and 24.2 percent, respectively. Exports of high-tech products reached 35.77 billion CNY, up 26.8 percent. During the same period, exports of labor-intensive products and agricultural products reached 25.05 billion CNY and 15.37 billion CNY respectively. 

In the January-November period, Hunan's imports of bulk commodities increased by 9 percent to 75.55 billion CNY, accounting for 38.5 percent of total imports. Meanwhile, imports of mechanical and electrical products amounted to 46.96 billion CNY, representing 23.9 percent of total imports.
