According to statistics of Changsha Customs, Hunan Province achieved a total foreign trade volume of 461.42 billion CNY in the first ten months of this year. Imports accounted for 190.2 billion CNY, reflecting a 9.4% year-on-year increase. In October alone, the province’s total import and export volume reached 47.47 billion CNY, growing by 10.2%. Of this, exports rose by 20.7% to 28.92 billion CNY.
In the first ten months, there were 7,546 enterprises across Hunan with actual foreign trade performance, an increase of 272 compared to the first three quarters.
Hunan’s trade with African countries amounted to 41.77 billion CNY in the first ten months, maintaining its position as the largest in central and western China.
